EIDD 1931
Chemical Name: N-Hydroxycytidine
Purity: ≥98%
Biological Activity
EIDD 1931 is a viral RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRP) inhibitor and broad spectrum antiviral nucleotide. Inhibits replication of a range of RNA viruses including influenza, Ebola, HCV, and human and zoonotic coronaviruses (IC50 values are 0.15 and 0.3 μM for inhibition of MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV-2 replication in vitro). Increases mutation rates and induces lethal mutagenesis in viral RNA. Also inhibits replication of mouse hepatitis virus with mutations conferring resistance to remdesivir (Cat. No. 7226).Technical Data
