Biological Activity
Sal 003 is a cell-permeable inhibitor of cellular phosphatase complexes that dephosphorylate eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 subunit α (eIF2α). Analog of salubrinal (Cat. No. 2347) with improved aqueous solubility. Shown to prevent the induction of hippocampal long-term potentiation (LTP) and memory formation (LTM) in mice.Technical Data
