Biological Activity
(R)-Norketamine hydrochloride is a NMDA receptor modulator. Metabolite of Ketamine hydrochloride. Decreases intracellular D-serine concentration (IC50 = 91 nM) and alters serine racemase expression in PC-12 cells. Exhibits analgesic effects in rat pain models.S-enantiomer and racemate also available.
