MDL 100907
Chemical Name: (R)-(+)-α-(2,3-Dimethoxyphenyl)-1-[2-(4-fluorophenyl)ethyl]-4-piperinemethanol
Purity: ≥98%
Biological Activity
MDL 100907 is a potent and selective 5-HT2A receptor antagonist (Ki = 0.36 nM, IC50 = 3.3-5.1 nM). MDL 100907 exhibits > 80-fold selectivity for 5-HT2A receptors over other serotonergic receptor subtypes. MDL 100907 is neuroprotective; protects cultured dopaminergic neurons from MPP+ induced toxicity. Antipsychotic agent in vivo.Technical Data
