Biological Activity
Licarbazepine is an active metabolite of oxcarbazepine (Cat. No. 3864). Produces dose-dependent inhibition of glutamatergic excitatory postsynaptic potentials (EPSPs). Displays anticonvulsant activity; exhibits minor potentiation of GABAA receptor currents.Technical Data
