Scientific Data
Detection of Human Phospho-VEGFR1/Flt‑1 (Y1213) by Western Blot. Western blot shows lysates of HUVEC human umbilical vein endothelial cell untreated (-) or treated (+) with 100 µM pervanadate (PV) for 10 minutes. PVDF membrane was probed with 0.1 µg/mL of Rabbit Anti-Human Phospho-VEGFR1/Flt-1 (Y1213) Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4170), followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Rabbit IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF008). A specific band was detected for Phospho-VEGFR1/Flt-1 (Y1213) at approximately 130-140 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.
Preparation and Storage
- 12 months from date of receipt, -20 to -70 °C as supplied.
- 1 month, 2 to 8 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
- 6 months, -20 to -70 °C under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
Background: VEGFR1/Flt-1
VEGFR1, also known as Flt-1, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that contains seven Ig-like repeats in its extracellular domain, a single transmembrane region, and a kinase domain in the intracellular region. Ligand binding induces autophosphorylation on multiple intracellular tyrosine residues. Y1213 is a major binding site for PI3K, Nck, and SHP-2.
