Designed for use as a secondary developing reagent in immunofluorescent assays, such as flow cytometry, where the primary antibody does not have a fluorescent reporter, is of human origin, and is of IgG class. The recommended concentration is 10 μL/106 cells.

Detection of EGF R/ErbB1 in A431 human epithelial carcinoma cell line by Flow Cytometry. A431 human epithelial carcinoma cell line was stained with Human Anti-Human EGF R/ErbB1 (Cetuximab) Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB9577, filled histogram) or irrelevant antibody (open histogram) followed by PE-conjugated Rabbit Anti-Human IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog #F0157).   1. Do these antibodies (MAB11012, F0157, F0156, and F0158) recognize IgG3?

    • This clone was raised against purified IgG from Human Serum. It was tested and shown to recognize Human IgG1. It is expected to recognize all subclasses of Human IgG, but other subclasses have not been tested.
