FLARE Slides Summary

FLARE Slides provide three sample surfaces, specially treated to promote cell adhesion to the slide.

Why Use FLARE Slides for Comet Assay?

FLARE Slides greatly simplify the comet assay by providing three sample surfaces specially treated to promote agarose adherence and a hydrophobic barrier to allow easy application of cells directly to each slide, and treatment with DNA repair enzymes. Designed for use in the CometAssay, FLARE, and with the CometAssay Electrophoresis System.

FAQs

  1. Is it necessary to use a coverslip with CometSlides™?

    • FLARE™ and CometSlides™ were designed to be used without coverslips because removal of the coverslip could cause detachment of the agarose and cause damage to the samples.
