Biological Activity
dTAG-Fluorescein is a fluorescent probe for labeling FKBP12F36V fusion proteins. Comprises a high-affinity ligand for FKBP12F36V mutant protein (Kd in the subnanomolar range and 1,000-fold selectivity for the F36V mutant of FKBP12 over wild-type) coupled to 5-amino fluorescein. dTAG-Fluorescein can fluorescently label FKBP12F36V fusion proteins expressed at different levels in a variety of cell lines.Optical Data for dTAG-Fluorescein
